Tickets are now on sale for the Community Players of Greene County production of “The Sound of Music.”
The local production of this timeless classic written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein will be one that will be talked about for years, Players president Clay Ross said.
Nicole Friess Schilling and Josh Tuel play the lead roles of Maria and Captain von Trapp. The cast includes many experienced Players performers and new faces as well.
Performances are Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21 and 22, at 7 pm and Sunday, Feb. 23, at 2 pm at the Greene County High School auditorium. Tickets for the evening shows are available at the Jefferson office of Peoples Trust & Savings Bank. Tickets for the Sunday show are at Home State Bank in Jefferson.
Tickets are $12.50 each. In addition to the banks, they can be reserved by emailing the Players at cpgcia@gmail.com.
Also, gift certificates for any amount to be used toward admission to Players shows are available through the same email address.
